I am a passionate public speaker. In the last several years, I have given three keynote addresses and gone on a speaking tour across five cities. I also love teaching and am an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the graduate degree program in Exhibition and Experience Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.

I am a frequent guest speaker at TrepCamp, a Silicon Valley-based international summer camp that helps aspiring entrepreneurs develop the skills they need to start their own business. My lectures span topics such as achieving personal and professional goals, leadership mindset, and finding purpose.

On December 8, 2024, I received the STAR Award from the Fashion Institute of Technology’s Department of Graduate Studies in recognition of my contributions to the Exhibition and Experience Design program.

KEYNOTE - Fashion Institute of technology 2017 Capstone event, nyc

I was invited as the keynote speaker for FIT's Annual Thesis Capstone event that took place on December 8th, 2017. The Annual Thesis Capstone event hosts industry professionals for a day-long adjudication of final student work. Industry leaders (including creative directors, CEOs, exhibit developers, audience specialists, writers, researchers, content experts, design educators, recruiters, journalists, events marketers, and project managers) travel from around the world to review theses and lend their expertise to the graduating class.

The bi-annual OSPI Summit is an international, invite-only conference for exhibition design and trade show executives from around the world. I was invited to give a keynote address on July 12, 2016. I took the audience on a two-hour journey of technological evolution from the humble beginnings of stone tools to unfathomable digital technologies 30 years into the future.

I have been involved in FIT's graduate degree program in Exhibition and Experience Design for over fourteen years. I have conducted numerous lectures and master classes while also guiding students on their final thesis projects. I am currently teaching a course on Exhibition Design Historical Perspectives and Theory, which explores the history, theory, and practice of Exhibition Design from ancient markets to the latest technology and experience design trends that are transforming the discipline.

I was invited by the One Club in NYC to be a member of The One Show 2018 jury. I am currently judging entries from around the world for the Responsive Environment category. This category recognizes excellence in immersive experiences that integrate digital technologies with physical structures.

I have been invited by the International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES) to attend their annual World Summit taking place in Chicago this year. I will be giving a 45-minute talk on futuristic tech trends for exhibition design and events services. I am also bringing two FIT graduate students to present their work related to sustainability and am moderating a panel discussion on sustainable techniques for designers, as well as what the future holds for the industry.
